Once you do all of the awesome things on Kelsey’s October agenda, it’s time to go on a fall fashion shopping spree. We’re entering the season of staying warm, getting drunk, and wearing unicorn costumes. Get out your wallet and get ready for this month’s “Must Haves” adventure.
First stop on the shopping train is our favorite Brooklyn store Bird. Swing by and pick up a super rad jacket, like this Woolrich arctic parka, to cover all of the Fall blubber you plan on acquiring from ODing on pumpkin spice lattes.
Next, it’s time to buy some booze. But not just any booze, classy and mysterious booze. The brand new Greenpoint store, Duke’s Liquor Box, is filled with unique gens that probably never made a appearance in your parent’s liquor store. Since I recently decided (like a complete asshole) that the 1920′s are “totally my era” I’m going to use this store as my gateway to buying absinthe. Check out this sweet bottle of Letherbee Charred Oak Absinthe Brun I bought there. It’s so delicious, and you should probably buy some too.
Before you get too drunk, start to think about your costume for The Most Important Holiday Ever which is coming up. Have you always wanted to be a magical unicorn for Halloween? Good, me too. The Brooklyn-based Snowflake Hoops will make our dreams come true with this unicorn hood.
If you’ve been holding out on buying something from Brooklyn Tailors because you’re too short on cash, you’re in luck this month. They’re currently having a super sale on select items, including this perfectly lovely chambray shirt.
And if you still can’t stay warm enough, get yourself this insanely cute quilt by Modern Juno. Or… you know… just drink more absinthe.
